Saturday – Arrivals and Opening Ceremony
Arrive in uniform, settle in, and join the site-wide Opening Ceremony (in uniform still) to officially kick off the week.
Sunday – San Francisco & Singapore
8am: Breakfast on the Grassland Green – bring your tables, benches and breakfast for our first morning of getting to know eachother!
San Francisco: Buckle up for our car driving experience, WW1 trench zone, mountain biking, 4×4 off-road rides, British Army team-building, nerf, mechanics badge, and microlight flights (ticketed for 14–17s).
Singapore: Dive into our walk-through discovery zone — from recycling and global sustainability to 3D printing, engineering, environmental science, health and wellbeing, and even the art of selfies.
Monday – Colossus/Rio & Vancouver
Colossus/Rio: Get messy in the 2.5K Festival Fun Run — packed with obstacles, colour, mud, and high energy. Don’t forget clothes you’re happy to ruin!
Vancouver: Step inside the inflatable indoor fair, with huge crowd favourites like wipeout, twister, wrecking ball, human whack-a-mole, pillow bash, hungry hippos, dart board, and bouncy castles galore.
Tuesday – Colossus/Rio & Challenge Zone
Colossus/Rio (continued): A final chance to run wild through the Festival course.
Challenge Zone: Expect puzzles, physical challenges, and team-based tasks. Discover all five subcamps, take part in a set of challenges and colour in your bag to achieve your official Challenge badge!
Wednesday – Reykjavik & San Francisco
Reykjavik: High-adrenaline thrills including a giant zip wire, climbing wall, abseiling, monkey bridge, crate stack, tree-top adventures, and bag jumps.

Thursday – G.A.S.P. & Vienna
G.A.S.P.: Global Action ScoutProjects – learn about international sustainability and social impact through Scouts Against Malaria, Earth Tribe, Tide Turners, ShelterBox, and many more inspiring initiatives.
Vienna: A jam-packed zone of fun with zorb football, target shooting, archery, tomahawks, nerf wars, electric & pedal carting, frisbee golf, water rockets, laser clay shooting, slingshots, circus skills, and electric quads.
Friday – FESTIVAL DAY: Grassland Style
Friday is our big celebration day, and we’re going full Grassland Festival mode!
- In the morning, all groups will stay on Grassland Subcamp for a jam-packed programme created by our team. Expect adventures, music, games, activities, challenges, and a few surprises along the way.
- At lunchtime, we’ll be moving everyone’s benches and tables into the pathways to create one huge, shared Festival Lunch. It’s going to be a proper communal moment — everyone together, celebrating the week.
- And here’s the twist: we’d love you to be as creative as possible with your lunch. We’re setting you an additional challenge to make your group’s lunch as ORANGE as possible — orange food, orange drinks, orange decorations… go wild!
- In the afternoon, groups will be free to explore the other sub camps and enjoy the wider festival site.
- To round off the day, there will be a ClosingCeremony, where everyone is encouraged to wear their Festival Colours— bold, bright, and celebratory and ORANGE!
Saturday – Departures
A final moment to say goodbye after an incredible week.
Evening Entertainment
Evenings at KIJ offer a range of fun options:
Main Stage: Headline acts, shows, and music performances open to all.
Subcamp Evenings: Each night, two subcamps will host relaxed activities such as quizzes, games, crafts, or movie nights. Check your app to see what is happening when! We will have our evening programme posted in the subcamp green.
Club 14–17: Open every night exclusively for participants aged 14 to 17. It’s a themed, social space with music, entertainment, games, and chill zones designed just for them.
