For any outstanding fees or concerns about payment, please contact unit leaders.
We suggest each Explorer has up to €50 spending money. All food on camp and trips will be covered by the fee paid, this is spending money for day trips and visits etc.
While some banks allow transactions to be made abroad, not all will do so without charge. For this reason, we suggest that Explorers have at least some spending money in cash.
For safekeeping and peace of mind, the leaders will operate an optional “camp bank”, allowing Explorers to deposit cash with us and withdraw daily for trips and spending needs. If parents would like us to hold cash, it can be deposited (in a named envelope) with leaders upon departure at Sainsbury’s car park.
