World Scout Jamboree 2019

The World Scout Jamboree 2019 will be held in Virgina, USA. Hosted by Canada, Mexico and the USA the world of Scouting comes together for 12 days of Peace, Friendship and Adventure.

What is a World Scout Jamboree?

The World Scout Jamboree is an annual event hosted by a different nation or nations each year. The hosts invite all of world scouting to join them for just over a week where you can come into contact and make friends with people from all over the world, not to mention all the activities.

As an adult leader you will be responsible for leading a group of young people to the USA and support them while they are there.

Kent Scouts go to Kandersteg, Switzerland 2019

Kent scouts will be organising a trip to Kandersteg. They are looking for a team of adults to take on delivering this adventure.

The trip is still in the early stages of planning, so if you get involved now you can really help shape the experience for the young people.

Explorer Belt 2019

Kent Scouts are looking for volunteers who would be interested in getting involved in Explorer Belt Expeditions and supporting young people planning their own adventure abroad in 2019.

What is the Explorer Belt

For the young people, the Explorer Belt is a challenge of a lifetime. To take part in a 10 day expedition abroad travelling across their chosen country, providing a real understanding of that countries culture and way of life. The team will have to work as a team to organise the trip and once there complete a series of challenges and projects in order to acquire the Explorer Belt.
